Though originally designed to destroy the Avengers, the Vision would invariably become one of the team's strongest members. Created by Ultron, Vision was unleashed on the Avengers in order to lure them into a trap. Inspired by their plight, the synthezoid would reject his programming and join the superheroes in their quest to protect the world from threats like those of his "father." Marrying his fellow teammate, the Scarlet Witch, Vision would solidify his position in the Avengers as not only a powerful combatant and brilliant strategist, but as one of the most human members of the team.
