Introduction

Hello, my name is Faddler and I have been a silent part of the ArcheAge community since launch. I began playing archer classes since the beginning and I thought that I would share my personal build. These tips and tricks were self-taught over the long hours I have spent on this game. Literally countless. I have experience ranging from pirating, 1v1 arenas, Halcy wars, Hasla, castle sieges and just general open world PvP.

Role in Open World PvP

Bastions are a very mobile, tanky archer class that is built to survive other archers as well as melees piling on top of them. Having the defense tree and the auramancy tree gives you great mobility with two teleports, but also gives you redoubt, shrug it off, etc to keep you alive from darkrunners. In PvP, specifically open world PvP, Bastions are very durable so they can be in the front line and engage on players.

Core Abilities and Passives

Archers are very simply classes with fewer buttons than others. They are very good new-player classes because they offer a high skill floor, meaning you can start and still do pretty good. As you progress, archers still have a very high skill ceiling for you to master the class though!
