intro
This is a mostly single target focused build which is nice once you get to the point where you are in pvp zones trying to level, mostly Hellswamp and later. Some stuff can be switched around to fit different situations. Your bread and butter will be Battlerage and Defense, Auramancy is mostly for utility but also another form of "defense" against magic attacks. The battle pets are pretty useless but they can still help a tiny bit in the early level questing. This build focuses a lot on parry (and in return cooldown reduction) and defense to outlast your opponentBattlerage
replaces your basic attack, you can go ahead and remove the basic attack from your hotbar.
This is your main Initiator, it'll be used solo or in group play to initiate fights, it also snares the target for a couple seconds
you can also initiate with Lasso but I usually use it to catch targets running away or pull a target into my group. It's a nice skill to have but you might want to switch it to this passive for the cooldown reduction
Bondbreaker is a nice skill and can get you out of a sticky situation, it also lowers the damage you take from melee and ranged attacks by 50%.
very strong ability, mostly for single target, I wouldn't get rid of it when fighting multiple targets though.
This skill will work alongside the passive since they will both give you cooldown reduction when working together. Battle Focus will also give you a short burst of higher crit damage and reduced resource cost on battlerage skills.
This is an awesome skill, mostly used for multiple targets and looks bad-ass.
Note:
At early levels you can take this passive since you will have the points
You can use some AOE skills early, especially in group play or farming with a group
This skills is great for PVP but not needed for PVE, you can replace it with either or
Since we took the dual-wield passive that gives us crit rate we'll crit quite a bit more often with tripple slash and our other skills so we will be taking away 2000 defense from most targets
This skill will flat out increase your damage.
It's important to note that works with a sword and shield and that's why I take it (tested)
Defense
Defense is very important for an Abolisher and is also the source of your stun and trip.
You can use to initiate and then to stun and finally to trip your stunned target. (big Aggro increase when in group play pve as well)
a nice health increase and gives you extra mettle for your Boastful Roar.
has amazing single target damage (expends your Mettle), you can grab Toughen if you feel you don't have enough mettle and also taunts in pve
You can switch out
and when you want to do AOE or instance tanking.
I take as my passives, they give a lot of defense.
Other: For instances you can use and to keep aggro.
These two spells are great in group PVP.
Auramancy
Not a ton of skills I want to use in Auramancy, but there are some nice utility and defensive skills.
is a great magic damage reduction skill.
Teleport is a really fun skill, catch up to targets and is amazing when mining (jump to other ore nodes) and super fun to use
shrug it off is your other magic reduction skill but you can replace it with when in a group.
You can use if you are switching skills around to an AOE build and don't need the mettle generation from refreshment
Notes
Note: I'll continue to play and test this build and update it accordingly, feedback is more than welcome and I'd love to hear what you guys think.

@chuckboy, I'll clarify because I agree, what I said was missing vital info. If you don't want to go single target, you don't need the mettle at all, so you can take health lift instead. I'll edit the guide, thanks for the feedback. :)
"A lot of people seem to like Health Lift if you feel you still want health." What do you mean? everyone knows if you use Health Lift, its gonna replace Refreshment and Defense need Refreshment for Mettle (Boastful Roar or Revitalizing)
Another thing to note about being so tanky is when doing trade runs to the opposite continent, there will often be people there waiting for you to arrive.
You can blow all your defensive skills and make it to the resource trader relatively unharmed :)
@rudson0o Thanks for the feedback! Sunder earth is nice in group play, I mention it in the guide.
I use lasso often whenever in a group, same with imprison as mentioned in the guide, such great skills. The build above is more of a leveling/1v1 build but the guide below it goes more in depth of what you can use for group play. The great thing about Abolisher is how versatile they are, you can switch a few skills and adjust your play-style and it almost feels like a completely different class. :)
@Akselon You need to use a shield for these skills but you can always switch out your 2 hand weapon for the shield quick to use them then switch back, personally I find this difficult to do mid-battle. I prefer using the sword and shield since this build is meant for you to outlast your opponent.
