This is my first build here on ArcheAge. I played 8 years on WoW (top rating for 5/6 seasons) and 5 years on LoL (plat s1, plat s2, d1 s3, d1 s4) and now i'm pretty focused ArcheAge, i love it !
This is my personal build for the ShadowBlade, a strong melee fighter with cc and high mobility.
I'll update you guys and give you detailed information after getting some feedback from you and of course from the game. here's the PROS AND CONS tab:
PROS:
- HIGH MOBILITY WITH Tiger Strike Charge Overwhelm FreerunnerDrop Back
- HIGH SINGLE TARGET DMG COMBOS WITH Precision Strike Overwhelm Stalker's Mark
- HIGH CC WITH LassoLassitudeBanshee WailFocal ConcussionOverwhelm
- ANTI MAGIC STUFF Frenzy Bondbreaker Magic Detection Purge Courageous Action Drop Back
CONS:
- REALLY WEAK ON MASS PVP, NO SHIELD NO DEF MEANS YOU CAN'T STAY ON OPEN FIGHTS
- NO STUN BREAK, THATS SUX
- NO HEALS / SELF HEALS
- MUCH RELIANT FROM COOLDOWNS
BEST TRIP COMBO (only auramancy with a fast finger can avoid it [on theory ofc :D]) :
StealthFocal ConcussionShadowsmite FIRST TRIP > OverwhelmStalker's Mark 2ND TRIP > Triple SlashCharge 3RD TRIP > Banshee Wail fear+stun, why not in the end ? :D
Inside this combo ^ you should use a precision strike and Enervate if your fast enought!
This is my standard engage combo:
GETTING NEAR AN ENEMY WITH Stealth AT 15m USE Enervate AND Overwhelm FOR THE INCREASED STUN, THEN GET BEHIND UR ENEMY (if possible) AND USE Precision Strike .
FROM NOW ON (USING CD's ALSO) : Battle FocusTriple SlashChargeTiger Strike
GEAR + STAT: as ShadowBlade i play with Leather set and 2H axe. you should have 2k armor and 2k magic res like that, and thats a good balance for any fight.
As main stat you have to go for. STR > AGY > STAM > rest

I wonder if Reckless Charge (passive in battlerage) is worth a point, I dont feel like its helping much.
@broohitches you can go for magic detection but you will miss shadowstep / shadowsmite or stealth, your choice. magic def is strong anyways
Wouldn't the Magic Detection passive be useful if you're looking to kill mages, or is the the stat bonus from your gear/weapon enough?
@cruseator actually i keep adjusting the guide, so im sorry if its not fixed but ofc im learning everyday something new ;) . Atm i'm using Shadowsmite but not Drop back cuz there arent points enought :( and drop back is not so usefull imo! :D ty for feedback !
