Basics
Reaper is designed to be a mage assassin, crit and crit damage are king here.This guide is tailored more for world pvp so keep that in mind, gladiator arenas you will find yourself with a 50/50 win loss if you play well and are geared well, 5v5 arenas you can carry a team very hard with a Reaper build.
I am assuming everyone is familiar with the spells, so I will move on to the theories behind my build.
You can open up close or at a distant with a Reaper, depending on the class you are stalking will determine this, and it will determine the combos you use.

Why not use ? We are deep into sorcery so taking advantage of the higher damage from is important. needs to be placed asap if you have the target tripped or are opening at a distance to take full advantage of . Reapers not having long cc spells is nearly impossible to use effectively so replacing it with adds to our damage gives us a great stun with and lets us kite a little easier.
There are a few spells you can switch around depending on if you are playing with a group or not, or if you like to pve with a pvp build.
can be switched out with if you like group fights or aoe grinding
can be switched with for pve as well.
Combos
I will separate this into vs melee, vs range, vs caster I tend to handle other casters like I am fighting melee.Against archers I start outside of melee range , we don't have shrug it off so getting stunned needs to be prevented until we can get our slow / snare combo off.
Against melee starting close is important to lead with stuns and burst damage and time the use of which is a crazy tide turner if you crit any of your openers.
Vs Melee
Start off close and in cc burn hard, open distance, and right away. It will look like this

At this point they get to stun lock you and go to town, not much we can do about this, if you are geared properly with 13k+ health you will survive the stunlock or they will kill themselves with the reflected damage. During this stun I spam and then to move away and finish off with and putting down a wall of can slow their closing time.
is on a low cool down so use it every time it is up!
Vs Archers

It is a dps race play smart watch out for invincibility and if they have shadowplay use when you backdrop close in case they you to get some reflect damage off
Vs Casters
Same as melee but use spells to interrupt casting or break cc such as > and to break a cast mid spell.
Gear
I keep a cloth set and a plate set, I prefer cloth for world pvp, the only time I use plate is group fights because I normally infiltrate to open withThe warriors necklace is great or Wave necklace if you can afford it, Wave rings, and Wave earrings as well,
Standard Lake sets or get the quest cloth set on the Nuia questline
