This Guide is under Construction FOR LVL 55 UPDATE.I am playing Dreambreaker for around 3 months now in Arena and open world, before i was playing Defiler and didnt like the lack of movement skills. This is the main Reason why i choose to change the class and adjust my build and playstyle more to Auramancy and being able to counter 95% of what the enemy dose (cd´s) while holding him in a comfortable range and dealing sometimes huge burst dmg to his hp.
The Enervate Earthen Combo is currently considered the strongest because its 2 instant casts that not only deal massive but also drain the mana of your enemy, and snare him and on top of that even heal you for the earthen-grip dmg. I, and most likely 99% of the population on the Server are aware of that OP´nes and everyone knows it will get nerfed. If anyone has complaints about that be it, but i will try to figure out a way to hold the dreambreaker flag up even after the nerf.
I will also work on other Guids and try stuff like melee Classes or not seen class-combinations, i appriciate every like/comment and support in that regarts.
//Gear\\
Armor:
If you want to Rule the 1v1 Arena World, and open World, I would suggest you to get two Sets of Armor, if not even three.
Most Damage you will take will be Physical, so you want to try to get a Plate Armor mainly.
The Armor Should be Lake and at least Magnificent + Heroic grade.
The better the Armor the more likely u will win of course, because GEAR matters exponential.
Lake = Stamina + Int, the main stats you will need for this Build.
If you want a Cloth set, go for the Serpentis Set.
It has the same stats as a Lake Set, and its ranked equal to Epherium (1:1).
The Set Effects are extremely OP, you get a lot of Dmg +, and if you are about to die there is a high chance your shield will proc. That means 3 seconds to use boastful max stacked to get another big hit onto the enemy. In addition, you will regen after that 100% more, this dose count to your Mud-hand Combo!
Literally the best Set for Dreambreaker/Defiler and any other class that deals m-Dmg.
The third option Leather is more for Group World PvP.
If you are always in the front lines, you will be taking a lot of Dmg of course.
To mitigate the biggest amount u would need to use Plate, which will not do the job since you will have low M-res. So any kind of spell that hits you will feel like a truck, and since there will be probably 2-3 casters always in range of you, you will have to be prepared for both kinds of Dmg.
If you do go for a Leather Set, you would need Delphinad or higher Earth set. Everything else is just a waste of gold, since going hybrid with Epherium or lower won’t give you enough survivability for your gold.
Weapons:
As for Weapons, you should try to get at least an Epherium Earth/Wave/Lake Scepter.
At least a Lake/Earth Magnificent Shield. (Prefer the Serpentis Shield since the use Effect is OP and its ranked Epherium) If you can Run Serpentis get it.
Also, try to get a GHA Scepter for regening Mana vs certain enemies.
In addition, have a Hasla T3 Staff or equally good Staff ready (you might wane switch).
Accesorias:
Wave Necklace - Magic Pen, nuff said. (GHA Necklace breaks a few of your CCs if you are unlucky and can lose you games that way)
OR Halcyona - Depends on the Rank you have it, its really good against Delphinad+ geared ppl that try to 2-3 shot you.
Wave Earrings - Int for more Dmg, and flat Dmg Reduction for magic and physical Dmg on top of Armor % Dmg Reduction.
Earth/Life Ring - More Hp for more sustain, more skill Dmg for higher enervate earthen combos. Cast time on Wave is only good for your bubble everything else it’s useless for.
Dream Ring - No Question best ring in Game get it as high as you can.
Cape:
Auroria with Movement Speed - increases chance of catching Archers and melees that try to run off and stealth.
Auroria with Block-Rate - since 70% in arena will be physical Dmg this 5% is insane.
Judge Cape from Trials - Gives overall good stats stamina and Int, and increases your Dmg from your shield attack since it has str.
Lute/Flute:
Depending on your HP if you have 20k+ with self-buffs and no pots go for Int type or Int/Sta.
If you have less than 20k HP, better take one with pure Sta.
//Luna Gems/Frost\\
I am taking allways the opposite of the Armor as Gems if there are no spezial Gems.Spezial Gems are considered:
Chest = Ressilliance
Legs = Toughness
Fett = Movement speed
If you only play arena you can go m-def on cloth and Phys-Def on Plate to totaly reck there day.
Else i would suggest taking Phys-Def into Cloth and so on, that will balance the matchups more, and if you wear cloth with phys-def gems you will have no problems vs hybrid classes that do magic and physical dmg.
Frost:
Head = 20% Stealth Detection
Chest = 3% Dmg reduct
Feet = 5% Move-speed
Gloves = M-dmg Crit+
Everythign else hp/Int Lunafrosts.
For Weapons:
Focus Gems in Right hand scepter.
M-dmg % or flat M-dmg increase, depending on your gear most cases M-dmg % from the Honor Merchant are better.
Shield Block % Gem for Shield.
And flat 270 Armor as Lunafrost.
If a Melee can kill you it will only be from behind, which means your shield % block Rate stone wont save you, while 270 flat Armor are a good amount of less dmg.
Bow = M-dmg+ gems
Lute/Flute = defense pen
//Main Combos\\
Your Main dmg Sources are:->

//How to Fight certain Matchups\\
Note: ALLWAYS check what Build Enemy is using, and if you are not sure if magic Dmg or physical is the main Dmg source check his weapon buff (2x1hand = phys, Shield = most likely magic if he has witchcraft+other magic Dmg tree and so on), as a Result choose the proper Armor Set. If you chose wrong swap Armor for Fight 2 and 3.Archers in General:
You will have to try to catch him once with ->
OR if you know he is a Primeval and he knows how to play/kite you are better of by just using instead to get once close to him and then lock him down.
Most Archers will try to do a -> to nuke you, as soon as you catch them with the earthen Grip and try to close the Gap. There are 3 Ways of handling that, if they don’t have Shrug it off active and you are close you can try to them. If they are close to you and they don’t have active but shrug it off, then you would try to them. But if they cast the and you are too far away get ready to use . Those 2 skills -> are needed to kill you, else they will run out of Dmg before they are oom or you killed them already before they get oom, so blowing here is considered a good play.
Everything else in this matchup is up to kiting and chasing, except he enters the 15m range, then you should pop and keep an eye out for a melee stun, which should lead to a -> from your side, if he dose manage to stun you.
Darkrunners:
This can be the easiest, but also hardest matchup.
His opener is going to be a ->
Or
He might want to trick you with a into running away.
Or he might try to you.
All of those openers are handle able, it depends on your reaction-timing on how much he gets to rape your Ass at the start, and this will decide 80% of the outcome of your fights, since he has way to many ways to get out of your range and re-stealth for the next big combo!
Main Goal is to use and then react to what comes next if you see him come to 17m or less use asap, and try to turn around and throw a after him.
If he does not start to hit you but runs off, chase him and hit him with the no matter what. If you did manage to get him into your Mud-hand it’s all about sticking in the 19m Range of him and ALLWAYS look into his direction. Yes he can use multiple times, which means you might get dizzy from his resets and turning around every 0.5 sec, but that’s how it works. If he is behind you, you are fucked because you will not be able to block anything.
As soon as you get close to him or manage to him there are a few options.
If he uses you want to try to catch him with -> , because the same second you hit him with he will most likely pop his to run away. If you do manage to get his on CD and have him Feared, you should wait out the duration of since it reduces your Dmg by 50%. After that you are free to hit him like a truck with -> . The moment he will get out of the fear, he will either try a desperate all-in or he will try to run away again. Your have to try to get him into -> and if he stays in range of you after using his you can start casting within the 2 seconds remaining duration of . This Should guarantee to close the Gap again, and finish him off with another stun rotation and maybe another ->.
Shadowblade:
Its basicly the same as a Darkrunner, the main Differences are that you can not sleep him or fear him, but u can stun him. He is also a lot less mobile, so there should be no way for him to get away if he dsnt manage to stealth at 20m+. Try to stick onto him and cc him with normal stuns and abuse that earthen grip + boastful on cd, then it should be an ez win.
Defiler/Dreambreaker/other Witchcraft+ Classes that are tanky:
May attention to his , you will have to try to it as soon as you can.
Save your for his , this will destroy you if he gets it off properly.
Always check , it has to be up 24/7 else you get comboed.
Unless anyone has a great Gear advantage one of you will probably go oom, using the GHA Scepter to restore Mana is advised!
Daggerspell/Spellslinger:
Save your for his , this will destroy you if he gets it off properly.
His opener will be to + to try to get your off, stay alert (hold alt already pressed from the start = self-cast shortcut) and be ready to use to not get feared -> Meteor Combo.
Blighter:
Keep an eye out for his Mettle, as soon as he’s at 2.5k-3k he will try a all-out combo. That’s when you want to use and maybe even after the redoubt runs out.
There is no need to his because you have enough CC to get behind him -> he can’t block your -> which disables him again.
As soon as he uses his you want to try to him, and not waste your , or Bow normal attacks on him. If he uses you should pay close attention to its duration, if it runs out and his is on CD you should go for a -> jump+ combo that will deal a lot of fall Dmg.
