The Shadow Stalker

The Shadow Stalker is intended to be one who catches their prey and can adapt to a variety of situations. This build functions best from the shadows, as an assassin. He who is not seen, in most circumstances, shall win the day. That is our philosophy, that is why we win. Let someone else go toe to toe and be a fool. One quick slash to the throat from behind is as noble a way of victory as any other. Get any thoughts of honor from your mind, as we survive because in war, there are no rules.

Arsenal

Weapons- Our kind prefer to use dual-wielded, quick single blades. Swords are a perfect example of this. That which amplifies your might, making your attacks more powerful and deadly, will win you the fight. We shy away from massive weapons that are slow and give our opponent opportunities to strike us down. Swords that can be held in one hand are therefore seen as an optimal choice.

Armor- There are two possible choices in this regard, depending on the assassins goals. The more viable option is to tread in the soft and silent leathers that mask your steps but do not hinder them. The leathers also have a dual purpose of negating magical and physical attacks. When a full set is worn, the assassin's skills with bladed weapons and evasion are hightened, as well as his skill with the bow, should that be relevant.

The assassin could also choose to partake in the heavy plate armor worn by many melee combatants. This approach increases the assassins fortitude and greatly negates the effects of physical weapons, but acts as no barrier to magical attacks. It also does nothing for the wearers combat skills.

Strategy
As stated previously, only the foolish believe in honest warfare. Those who wish to live wait for the best moment to strike at their foes. This is why you should prefer and get accustomed to sneaking around your enemies, waiting for the perfect moment to plunge your sword into their back. Should this option not be available, assess your predicament. It is not impossible to confuse your opponent and still get the drop on them, or should you be outnumbered, to run away and perhaps find a better opening.

Noble fools who believe in open battle and never fleeing until you or the enemy is dead are your best friends. They often take the attention from you so that you may gingerly sneak behind them and silence them easily, with little threat to your own self.

Should you find yourself caught in a particularly nasty spot, we do have a host of abilities meant to help us preserve our health. With only a thought we can make ourselves invulnerable to our enemies for a short period, hopefully allowing allies to tip the scales in our favor. Should the opportunity present itself, we can also sneak around during combat, confounding our enemies and setting ourselves for a hasty retreat, or a new opening. Our abilities also allow us the ability to heal during battle, albeit not frequently, it can tip the scales to our favor.

Note

I do not think it necessary to name which skills do what, as the combo guide and tool-tips of the skills themselves accurately do that for me. If you cannot put two and two together from there, go find a nice Primeval build to roll your face across the keyboard with.

The greatest strength is not handed to the weak, it is earned by those worthy enough to seek it.
