Introduction to Dreambreakers

I wanted to share with everyone one of the shining jewels of Archeage, Excelling in 1v1 1v2 pvp.
Armed with a good Scepter, Shield and Cloth armor will make you a Mobile CC/Bursting Nightmare for almost any opponent you face, the greatest downside of this class/build its very difficult/expensive to gear up. In this guide i will go over skills and synergy of them, this current setup is for Arena/Small scale PVP, the class itself is extremely strong when played properly and will make your enemies cringe to face you. I currently play on Tahyang Server and if you have any questions feel free to ask them i will do my best to answer them as i can.

UPDATE: i have found due to the more move speed pots on already rediculus fast archers in arena 1v1 it is best to drop the aura passive and take
for the needed short cd gap closer.

Skill Set / Combos. Effective uses.

As a Dreambreaker in Arena your damage from skills primarily come from the following basic burst combo.

  • >

    to keep them weak and locked down.

  • If your opponent gets close to you and is immune to stun/impales you can use
    to get a breather and reposition yourself into the upperhand position.

  • If you find yourself dealing with a melee, and they manage damage to you ensure to pop

    for a big damage boost/immunity from enemy cc's. If for any reason you make a mistake its ok if you notice they are going full on burst which most will do as they have tunnel vision, and are not so much graceful as button masher types.

  • This class is all about Control and Mobility!
    is your friend either offensively or defensively, if vs archers, u will most likey be gap closing, if vs melee most likely putting distance between them.

  • VS kiting archers pop

    to close the gap and start making them cry as their health dissapears.(Most satisfying parts is keeping kiters locked down :D)

  • will be used as that extra dmg for opponents in your face also as a knockback.

    GEARING:
    The must haves for starter gear
    1 - Run GHA until the third boss Drops Monstrous Desire!
    2 - Farm Hasla tokens for Faded Shield of Fortitude
    3 - Work on getting the cloth set out of GHA(Cheeper Starter route)
    or the more expensive route crafted cloth setsWARNING: EXTREMELY COSTLY!

    EDIT:LAKE PLATE(Due to all the melee/acher types u find extremely viable.)
    In my opinion Stats your looking for are STAM>INT>SPI, Magic power is a must still looking into best ways of lowering GCD(Global Cooldown) when i get a definitive answer i will post it, this will be extremely important. Appears the lowest GCD one can achieve currently is 1sec.

    HELLFIRE BOW(combos very well with bubble but the honor cost 45 day usage can be a small downside)
