Basics
Are you maybe one of those that hate to lose...?The type of person that just has to stay alive at all times...?
Well look no further! templar is a Healer/Tank that is just imposible to get killed...don't get me wrong tho, it has it's downsides too : your dmg is next to none existing and without a party yoou're pretty much useless. But feat not because be it in wars or be it in dugeons/raids you'll be there to stay!
As far as gearing goes a shield and 1-h mace would be the optimal. As far as armor goes i'd recoment Plate with magic resist gems to cover your basis. The stats you sould be aiming is the reason i don't recoment leather armor, those are Spirit and Stamina.
Skills
What follows might not be a very detailed guide but what I think I sould tell you is this:-Try to get alive as much as possible ( duh! ) so that your team can do their work.
-If you need more magic defence try the + combo and if needed you can use .
-Try to CC the best you can with + or even as a more short trem measure.
-Always try to use your heals the most effective way possible, for example :
*cast before other healing spells for more eficiency.
*have on you at all times.
* increases spirit that in turn increases healing (and M.Def usefull against magi)
*use only when you have many stacks of Mettle and try to synergize it with
for better eficiency.
*always use before for better healing.
-Getting the best minignation posible includes using often don't be afraid and use it frequent.
- if the situation requires to run for it or chase after priority targets.
Disclaimer
What I mean by the title is that i don't claim to have found the best build out there. This is merely the e basic outliner, whatever of those skills you don't use replace them without second thoughts. Also I'd like to say that in these chances :
, , , , , ,
would be advisable to in depenting on the situation( e.g. agroo tools are bad choises for PvP while exepetional for PvE) while :
, , , ,
are the usual suspects for throuing out of the build.
That being said...enjoy being the most durable guy out there and remember, with great power comes marmelade and penutbutter sandwiches! ( or sth like that cant' recall right now)
