Introduction / update notes
Keep in mind that this build is under construction and more content will be added.Welcome to my Blighter build! Firstly, I am not an expert at the game. I stumbled across the blighter class on accident, and have recently grown to love it! I have tried many different spell combos and this is my current best overall setup. This will ultimately be a guide. Comments/tips/hate welcome. This build works well for me as I can power level through PVE and still take on most people in PVP encounters.
Update 11/4/14 - Changed up my build a bit. This is what I am currently using for leveling with a bit of pvp on the side. one point left over at 48 to get whatever you feel you need for your situation. I was having issues taking a lot of damage so I tanked up a bit. Comments always welcome!
Update 11/5/14 - I hit 50 finally! Going to do some arena and update the build over the next few days
Pro and Cons
PROS:- Fairly good amount of tank with good damage combos
- good mobility
CONS:
- weak versus mages / casters
- can burn through mana leveling at higher levels
Equipment
Armor:- Full plate set
- Main attribute should be strength
Weapons -
-1H sword + shield
other options:
- If you feel like you don't need a shield you can try a 2h sword. Keep in mind that this will make the shield skills in defense worthless.
- You could also dual wield as long as you get the battlerage skill that gives it a bonus
- Will add more on these two options later :)
Skills / Rotations / Combos (PVP) (OLD)
This section assumes you are the level the guide states it is. Firstly, there a MANY combos you can do with this class.Keep these buffs up at all times:
The following are rotations I use:
Combo 1:
then which trips. Then start casting then also trips. Get extra damage and reduce cooldowns of BR skills with Then I use then into which trips again. Then rinse and repeat most the time. You can typically get at least one cooldown reset on BR skills during the rotation with the passive .
Combo 2:
then into . Then into then instant cast (Due to drop back buff) to . Then throw in if your mettle is stacked to 3000 and use .
These easily kill squishy targets most the time. You can also go the annoying invisibility route:
then into get behind them which should shackle and do bonus 600% melee damage. Then go into an above combo!
Leftovers:
and should be used together for a trip effect. Usually I don't use them in a rotation because they are then available in case I get interrupted, stunned, feared, etc..
is great to use if you have a bunch of stacked mettle and you don't need/ want to use .
