Using everything but songs will break the song effects, so most damaging skills are useless and we try to get the most good passive effects.
Basic gameplay is ,,,.
Use combos to debuff your enemies, which is the only thing that doesn't breaks songs. is your only damage source, and is probably the most useful combo in the artistry tree.
Get and on your party, use on yourself.
In combat: if you get stunned, which happens a lot, all your songs are going to stop. Use and get def&attack up ASAP. Under magical fire, use , + combo and try to get songs back up. can be used so your party can finish off enemies, trap healers or get songs up safely.
can mean the difference between life and death, but it does break all your songs. does that too, but it helps a lot in small group pvp when enemy controls your healer. Don't bother with it in mPvP, songs are more important.
On equipment: One-handed wand+shield for main weapons. Shield is obvious, and wand will heal you sometimes with a chance. Any bow and instrument with as much +CON on it as possible. (I prefer the flute because it doesn't sounds as ridiculous). For armor, either get full CON plate set(beware of mages!) or full CON robe set(this is actually useable because of control time reduction on it).
Last but not least, some info on how songs work: When you start singing a song, you enter 2 second cooldown period after which you can use either or another song. Doing so will not stop the current song effects, and it will continue for 15 seconds. 2nd passive in Artistry is useless because even with those 10 seconds, if you do anything your current songs are going to end, and you can keep up all 4 songs if you just continue singing. All songs have 3 cycles(5 with second passive). The effect you see on the song(for instance scales during these 5 seconds(+1600 def when you start singing and +2400def after 4.9 seconds). After that, the song continues to the next cycle and the scaling starts again.
no gameplay video because it's boring as hell. ikr it's my main class T_T
