Fyi dont use Thermal intensity at this point in time it only seems to effect "Dot Damage"

Talents and Priority for leveling
1) Fuel the flame max this out asap! as its the core of all human torches damage regardless of what build you choose.
What this ability does, it will Apply "burn damage" to any target with use of any "spark" power
2) Flame on, This ability will be the strongest in your build even with the 30 sec cooldown it has! (also if its paired with Thermal intensity when its working properly)
It will be a massive powerhouse as long as you can stay in close and avoid damage. This ability is best for taking out bosses in an extremely fast fashion as well as getting from point A
To point B hella quick I often use it myself for killing the Doom bots in Midtown Manhattan as they tend to be the deadliest for human torch at this point in the build
3) Thermal Intensity. This ability adds flat damage to Every ability while in close combat I'm not going to go into detail on how to use this ability as its currently broken and only
adding the +damage to some aoe/dot abilities Until this is fixed your focus should be set on leveling up Scorching Pyre
4) Scorching pyre This ability is essentially your main damage ability for both single target and multi target, keep in mind its mid range so some bosses like Magneto where he does
a metal storm that does tons of damage you might want to rely on long range til the ability is over as Scorching pyre has a longer "cast time" keeping you in one spot a little
longer than most other damage abilities.
5)Protective Flames. Torch has little to no survivability! this is an important ability to pick up and ill show you the difference between using it and not visually but this is mostly
optional as to how many points you want to put into it. i would say its best to put between 10-15 points and then gain a fair amount from Gear such as + 1 all skills/Skill specific
6) Fire wall Both an awesome utility ability and a damage ability that stacks very well with your pyre ability! can save you from most ranged attacks (except currently any "bullet" type of ranged attack) using this with pyre is very spirit intensive so be sure to mind your spirit
7)burning volley Is my last ability i work on since human torches spirit regen can be really high you often don't have to worry about running out of spirit and having to use your basic attacks
With that being said you don't need a heck of a lot of points in this ability as the core of your damage comes from fuel the flame Also until its patched Searing arcfire is more effective
for damage at one point while spamming the button to attack rather than holding down the hot key. Personally i wouldn't use searing arcfire at higher levels as staying mobile when in close is
important for survival.
Gear Prefix Priority
Anything with
+ fuel the flame til you hit 40 points
+ Flame on til you hit 40 pts
+ Thermal intensity to 40 pts (when this ability is fixed)
+ Crit (i suggest around 10-15% crit min) Crit is more valuable now that flame on and fuel for the flame are able to crit.
+ All damage
+ Health
+ Damage on Crit (again not important but good to pick up if you have other great stats on it)
+ 1 to all hot head tree skills
+ 1 to all Fire Brand tree skills
+ 1 to all Burning Bravo tree skills
+ Attack speed (Attack speed is one of the least effective abilitys as it does not increase dot tick times.)
- Avoid Defense pen at all costs as during testing it seemed to not function at all.
Some of the better artifacts to use are the Skrull targeting computer, And STarktech for the +1 skills (if most of your skills cap at 40 switch this one out for a + crit and + flat damage or
a survival artifact such as Oculus Oroboros
Medals that are good with torch are Bullseye (to pump some crit) Lady Death (Crit and movement speed) or Dc Doom for +damage
