@ Vendeaduh ~ Dots currently cannot crit so that means "Veteran Warrior" is useless in every way, on bosses you want to keep up Psychic Haze dot (also slowing the boss) and kiting through your "Vortex Grenade". When they fix the Dot crit thing I am sure ill be speccing into the crit from "Veteran Warrior".
To second my comment, it just seems like +crit to the psychic trap/haze/barrier would go over much smoother than throwing a random vortex grenade which doesn't synergize with any of the other abilities within the build.
2 questions. 1. Do the ticks of Psychic Haze also have a chance to crit? 2. If so, would it be beneficial to instead of using vortex grenade on bosses, spec 20 points into veteran warrior while completely doing away with vortex grenade in order to buff the other abilities?
Damage Mitigation: Kinetic Repulsion
Boss Damage: Psychokinetic Barrier / Vortex Grenade (Vortex Grenade having higher priority)
Heavy AoE: Psychic Trap
You do not need any points in a basic power with this build, with correct gear your Psychic haze wont cost more than 10 spirit.
Gearing:
1- PSION abilitys over cap (Prioritize Psychic Haze to 30 first)
2- Power Duration, your damage is DoT's its important (Damage over time)
3- -%Spirit cost for Psychic abilitys
4- Spirit on kill
5- Spirit
6- Defense
7- Health
~ Its not a terrible idea to pick up some defense if you feel you need it, just remember the only real damage we take from creeps is from bullets and leaps, keep you Shield up at all times.
This builds damage is insane with the current bug to Psychic Haze, but dont worry this build will be just as good post fix, its very very strong.
