8/17 Update - About time for a re-write of this build since I've re-discovered my love for Wolverine recently.

Wolverine has been given some love recently and I believe I have finally found the build that works for me the best. I've tried a bleed type build and an ITBTI based build but I feel this single target regen type build is the easiest for me to play. I'll post some of the other builds I've tried since I think they're legit as well, they just didn't fit my play style.

POWER TREE EXPLAINED:

-=CLAWS=-

Quick Slash: This is your main, well, really only offense. You want attack speed and crit damage to really make this skill shine.

Slashing Leap: The reason you even have just 1 point in this skill is because it is a lot more intuitive and easier to use than Furious Lunge when trying to position yourself in large groups. You will get swarmed pretty quickly in Midtown and you need to be able to move and take out the more dangerous enemies or just grab those dang experience orbs before they disappear. This skill makes positioning yourself a lot easier when surrounded.

-=FURY=-

Berserker Fury: Keep this skill up as much as possible, but only use it when you have full fury. Once you dodge with Fearsome Fist your fury will shot up so don't forget to watch that bar and pop this skill. 19 points is the most you can put in this skill at level 60.

-=WEAPON X=-

Healing Factor: Gives you health regen and lets you steal health with hits from your Quick Slash. This is the reason we took Quick Slash instead of the other basic attacks, the more you hit the more you heal and Quick Slash hits the most. Damage on crit is another reason we take Quick Slash, but more on that later.

Feral Senses: The crit% passive was a nice addition to this skill, but it scales terribly and we're using our dodge% for our crit% so just 1 point here is plenty.

Furious Lunge: This skill gets you from point A to point B. It's nice to have the extra movement capability.

Adrenaline Rush: This is a must have for all Wolverines. High move speed and dodge% increase, what more could we want?

Adamantium Skeleton: Simply put, this helps us stay alive. Since we only do melee damage, we gotta get all up in the nitty gritty bits of the mobs and you want as much defense as you can get when in there. Tenacity is nice as well but won't save you from bosses unfortunately.

Can't Keep Me Down: Here's your solution to the tenacity not helping you against bosses. This skill will instantly free you from those annoying CC powers, and if you can time it right, you can also use this skill just before a CC move and not be affected at all since it grants a 1-2 second immune period.

Blood Victory: This skill looks underwhelming at first but when it starts getting high, the damage boost and the duration are pretty nice. The health regen is great in Midtown especially when you're cutting stuff down left and right. The speed at which we attack makes this damage even nicer than on slower attacks. 18 points is the most you can put in this skill at level 60.

Regeneration Boost: These are just leftover points. An extra 500 hp heal is nice since you don't have many skills to activate ever, why not get a little extra health? You could put these 3 points into Feral Senses if you really wanted like 1% more crit, but the health is definitely more useful.

THE BASICS OF PLAYING THIS BUILD:

This is a pretty easy build to play. Here's what you gotta do: take all that tasty dodge%, that sweet health regen coupled with a respectable health pool, then stab everything in the face!

Seriously though, with 50%+ dodge, some invuln cosmics, and your health regen skills you're very sturdy. When you dodge you get 100% crit for 1.5 seconds and you hit about 7 times in that 1.5 seconds so you're getting bonus damage from Bullseye and EoI for like 7 hits in a row. Use your Slashing Leap to position yourself and take out the harder hitting mobs or the ones that will die fastest to get them out of the way. When swarmed, dash out and work your way back into the swarm so you aren't getting hit from every side. I face tank most bosses including Electro, but the Mega-sentinel takes some strategy. Try to get right up on him and when he starts to lift his leg, dash away from him immediately but keep holding your LMB on him so you'll immediately walk back and start swinging again. If you time it right you won't take any damage and can solo him very easily. You should be able to survive one hit from him anyways so if he does get you, just run around him and use Regen Boost/medkit to get back to full health and then go back in.

GEAR:

For your shirt and belt you want dodge% more than any other affix. Seriously, you could use greens items with good dodge and it would be better than a purple with no dodge. Ideally you want cosmic bulwark items too because the invuln proc. If you have a choice, health, health regen, and spirit are also nice affixes to have on these pieces as well as 'grants' to your one point powers, and especially Regeneration Boost.

On your boots you want +skills to your most useful skills. Quick Slash, Adrenaline Rush, Berserker Fury, Healing Factor, and Bloody Victory in that order. You'll notice the difference the most with Quick Slash since you stay alive pretty well and the other skills mostly just help you live longer, but you could always kill stuff faster. Move speed increase can only be found on boots but we already run pretty fast, drop rarity/special item find are also on this piece so follow your heart. The +skills is the important thing here for this build.

On your mask you want +skills like above, then crit% would also be nice but you're mostly depending on your dodge% for crit% so it's not super important. Also if you have any +attack speed items left over for this slot, they work nicely on Wolverine.

A note about cosmics: the most important cosmic affix is 'bulwark' for this build. Bulwark gives a % chance to become invulnerable which is super nice on Wolverine. While invulnerable you will regen much fast because you aren't taking damage, plus you're right in the enemy's face so being invulnerable is really helpful. I personally wear two bulwark items and it seems to trigger very often,

For artifacts the Fearsome Fist is really vital to this build, but the EoI is just nice for the +crit damage and flat damage. You could replace this with a Starstone Tooth or some other useful dodge artifact while leveling if you're having problems surviving but EoI is really nice to have.

For the medallion I switch back and forth between Bullseye and Juggernaut. The Juggernaut is really nice for more defense, health, and the invuln chance. If you don't have 1-2 bulwark cosmics, I would use the Juggernaut medallion. If you have no problems staying alive at all, then switch to the Bullseye medallion. Remember, even though Bullseye adds damage and Juggernaut doesn't, in reality you're doing zero damage while dead so staying alive is your priority.

On your costume you need dodge% only affixes and the core is kind of up to you. A 25% drop rarity, 5% lifesteal, 25% health+spirit on medkit is what I like, but +1 strength is also nice to have especially in Midtown because you can throw cars and clear some trash really fast, or +1 durability gives a little bit of extra defense but it's not as nice as the other affixes. Go with what you prefer on the core, you can't go wrong with any combination of these affixes.

PREVIOUS VERSION UPDATE LOGS:

8/10 Update - First of all, I don't know the max points allowed in Berserker Fury since my Wolverine is only 40, but put the remainder of those points into Bloody Victory or Regen Boost depending on what you like. This is a very sturdy build now and it's pretty easy to play. Just click LMB and use Berserker Fury every time your fury is maxed which happens really really fast. GEAR: Try to get Regen Boost and Bloody Victory as "Grants" skills. Stack dodge on your costume and gear, you can get max dodge with this build so mixed with Fersome Fist and you chew through stuff dealing a lot of crits thanks to your really fast attack speed. EoI and Bullseye medallion help those crits deal more damage. If you get in a bind use Furious Lunge to wander off and heal for a second then dive right back in.

7/10 Update - Moved points out of Regeneration Boost and put them into the third basic attack for more synergy damage. Need to experiment with Feral Growl on bosses... Super Soldier Serums and Sabretooth medallion seem like ok choices too if your gear has enough dodge.

7/2 Update - Finally Healing Factor is useful! Here's the updated build focusing on health regen and dodge% for defense. Furious Lunge points add dodge% to Adrenaline Rush so try to keep Adrenaline Rush up all the time. There's a long duration on it but don't forget! I went Juggernaut medal because the invuln proc, hp, and defense are all nice but Sabretooth for hp or elektra for more dodge% are also good choices.

Here's the build I'm going with after testing the usefulness of most of his skills. Note that currently Smell Weakness is bugged but when it gets fixed this may change.

The idea is that your offense is basically Bloody Slash. You will be spamming the Regeneration Boost when you need it and Berserker Fury when you get high fury. Regeneration Boost currently kills your fury so prioritize using Berserker Fury first then spamming your heal.

The reason I opted to leave out Healing Factor is the numbers aren't that great right now. I ran two builds, one with 19 points in this and one with 1. I didn't really notice a difference to be honest. With 20 points you get like 2400 hp regen per minute, which means you get about 40 hp per second. This game is too fast paced so fights only last a few seconds, 5 seconds can clear a huge groups of mobs so that's only 200 hp for 20 skill points. The skill also adds +life per hit with a Basic Power which sounds great, but you only get ~15 life per hit. You should be killing most mobs with one or two hits and bleed will finish them off. If you add the amount of life you would gain from a group of 10 mobs taking 1-2 hits each at 15 life per hit, you'd get about 225 health regenerated. When you have 4-5,000 total hp, that is nothing and not worth 20 skill points IMO. Overall this skill is not worth it to me when you actually do the math, but hopefully it gets changed.
