hi people , i stopped playing for a while and checked patch notes and changes on him.. seems like this built is still best on him and kicks ass haha... well im back now.. greets (8.25.2013)This is a level 60 built that combines Cyclops maximum fire power with his best tactical ability Defence Tactician... and in my eyes the only way to reach his maximum power

Single Target Dps:
you will use Optic Blast for single target dps and bosses..... for max dps u need to max out all synergies.. trained punch + ricochet + piercing

Area power
:
Of course u will use Optic Devastation as the most powerfull spell Cyclops has to offer..In situations where u cannot really stand and keep charging your OD you should use your Ricochet.. other abilities are just rediculous if u compare them with OD....For less than 5 enemys its better to use Ricochet..

Abilities
:

Combat Roll:
you will use it to move across long distances on the battle field and of course infight.


Sideroll:
in some situations sideroll might be better than combat roll both nice to have.. but remember sideroll grants a dodge bonus of 20% while using Defence Tactician will grant you a dodge bonus of 30% and assists your group.

Ucanny Focus:
8 points is enough to never run out of spirit .. even if u use combat roll for faster movement across long distances u wont run out of spirit..

Concussive Force
:
1 points is enough for us to enjoy the knockback that is not really necessary but better to have than not have... u wont feel the spirit reduction because with ucanny focus u are always on max cap no matter how much max spirit u got..

Tactical command:
u have to spend 1 point in order to skill the Defensive Tactician. Maxing out this ability is useless because even on level 20 the def reduction is not worth the points..

Defensive Tactician:
Must have and very usefull ability for Cyclops to save ur ass and assist your teammates.. 8 points are enough in here .. with lvl 8 u have 30% and with lvl 20 u have 36,4 % .. 12 points are not worth the 5 % ... also because we have no more points left because we had to spend them for more important abilities..

Rallying Command:
I decided to spend 1 point in here in some bossfights its important to save your life for example if u cannot move..

Veteran Command:
i decided to spend 1 point in here because for heavy spirit based team set ups it might be usefull..


All other abilities that are not mentioned here are just useless and not worth any points...


Gear:

because Cyclops is very squishy i use all ranks of defence affixes with + % hp.
If u want u can go for offensive i would recommend crit on him
Of course u have to use Gear with additional points on all optics or OD
other important stats are of course Critical chance...

Artifacts:

Edge of infinity
... just awesome..
Kree-Hyper -Optics.... i think this artifact was created for cyclops...
We have crit and a nice slow effect but the most important for cyclops is that enemys are revealed on the minimap.. its very important for cyclops to know where the enemys are located because then he can use his OD on max range .. if u dont have Kree - hyper optics i would recommend to use the shield motion tracker...

Bullseyes:
Grants + Crit..  

Costume core:
Energy makes my OD more powerfull


Action Bars:

on the left you have to use Optic Blast and Ricochet
on the right you have to use OD

A: combat roll
S: Sideroll 
D: Tactical Command
F: Rallying Command
G: Veteran Command
H: Medikit
F1: Ultimate
Setting Ultimate on F1 also prevents you from using it accidently

Gameplay:

In Bossfights u just hold the left mouse button with Optic Blast and use your combat roll or sideroll to avoid incoming damage..In group challanges you should try to kite bosses in 1 line.. that makes sure that your Optic Blast hits the enemy.. while single beams will miss the target if u move sidewards..In all other situations u spamm OD or Ricochet...
if u have a group moving towards you .. you will use combat roll twice ..thats exactely the time u need to cast another OD without getting damaged...
in addition u will use your Defence Tactician or sideroll if u cant really move back because you have no room ...Usually u stand on max range and watch on the minimap where the enemys are located and spamm ur OD into their direction...in all groupchallanges i put my Ricochet on the left and just switch for bosses.. if u face less than 5 enemys its better to use Ricochet instead of OD.
You can use your Defence Tactician in all situations for example while rolling back with combat roll or fire your basic .. unfortunately u cannot use Defence Tactician while charging your OD. Heroes like Deadpool with SATB will be deep gratefull to hear a Veteran command of you if possilbe to use. When a new wave spawns in limbo i use Defence Tactician in all directions , then i use Veteran Command  then i move to a safe corner where i can start Spamming my OD....
