Nightcrawler : Teleporter

Build lvl 60

IN PROGRESS

Note : Since the 2015 patch, i'm trying to find the best way to spend all this remaining points, fact is that we don't really need them. All our primary spells are maxed, so i have put my points in
to deal some damages when i'm out of energy and in
cause, well it's fun. You can also put 1 point in
to help your team.

Skill Bar :

Tree Explanation :

Active

Agile Strike : Your basic attack, don't max it, this build is not based on "spam basic like hell"

Infernal Brimstone : First spell damage, use it in every case (aoe, elite, boss) Deal good damages over time. MAX

Flash and Grab : Aoe spell damage, grab them all in
, spam till nothing moves anymore. MAX

Brimstone Beatdown : Lone target spell, use it on bosses or remaining elites, some people would take
, it's a good spell too, damages are pretty the same on elite target considering the attack speed and the 40% buff on
.
I take this one for the "+X skill points in Rapid teleporter" stat., and I don't want to spread points. MAX

Righteous Frenzy : It's pretty cool to clean an area, but there is more important spells. 1 Point for fun or spend your remaining point into it.

Shadowmeld : An important spell, it will save your life more than you can imagine, use it, medikit, wait, and go in again ! Maxing it is not important, i take this just for the stealth, the health regen is pretty low. 1 Point for usefulness

Heartseeker Guard : Your stance, keep it activated all the time, crit and dodge, you can also take
but to me, crit and dodge are better than attack and defense. MAX

Teleport : Your basic movement spell, he is cooler than many other movements spells, don't max it, it will just decrease spirit cost.

Passive :

Incredible Acrobatics : Move speed, high dodge rating, and evade chance, a defensive passive we can't survive without it. MAX

One Step Ahead : Damage and defense rating after a teleport spell, 4sec buff, you gonna spam teleport spells, so you gonna have this buff all the time. MAX

Gear

Slot

Here is a screenshot of all Nightcrawler 's "unique" (thx to Qolanbendor , original thread Original Thread )

Gear slot is not a big trouble since there are uniques for all slots. Problem is that Slot 1 doesn't match with this build, so you have to find a Bound to all slot 1.
Recommanded Stats : critical Damage Rating, Melee/Physical Rating, Dodge...., anyway i think you can handle this by yourself (good luck !)

Enchants

Not so much to say about this, and there are not many enchants viable to me :

Slot 2,3,4 :

Dodge enchantment of Serpent : +100 dodge rating
If you already have 60% dodge, switch to the next one.

Health enchantment of Cattle : + 200 health
If you already have 20/25k hp switch to the next one.

Defense enchantment of Hoak : +150 defense
If you already have ## defense switch to the first.

Slot 1,5 :
Physical enchantment of Stone : +50 physical damage rating

Don't take Melee enchantment of Spear (+50 melee damage rating) because
and
are not melee spells, just physical spells.

Medals

You have many choices in this slot, and it's up to you.

[item]200[/item] Black Cat medallion : Critical rating, Dodge rating, move speed.
A well balanced medallion, i took this one cause i found a cosmic one.

[item]172[/item]Bullseye medallion : Critical damage rating, critical rating.
A pure offensive medallion, depends on your stats. Take this one if you want more critical damage or if you don't have ~40% critical chance.

[item]39[/item]Madame Hydra medallion : Damage rating, chance to make you and your allies invulnerable, spirit on death.
Good balanced medallion especially if you play in team, it also helps with spirit management.

[item]256[/item]Sauron medallion : Damage rating, critical rating, chance to charme on hit.
Pretty good too, a better alternative than the Bullseye one.

[item]204[/item]Tombstone medallion : Critical rating on melee, damage rating on melee, health, physical defense.
Also good balanced medallion, who provides more tanky stats than others.

Artifacts

[item]101[/item]Pym Shrinking Serum : The MOST important artifact in that build, this is your spirit regenerator, it's hard to manage spirit without it, your life will become easier with this.

[item]249[/item] Advanced Vita ray Projector : Damage rating and dodge (and more dodge on crit). Dodge is our true and real defensive stat, we are lacking of defense, block, projectile deflection, life etc... As a squishy hero i took dodge wherever it's possible cause we have enough crits and damages to deal, but a dead damage dealer is useless.

[item]246[/item] Advanced starstone tooth : Health, dodge and life on hit (20% with your attack speed, it gonna proc a lot). A pure defensive item, you can change it if you want. I will do a list of possible items below.

[item]218[/item] Black cat's grappling hook : Critical damage and dodge, since critical damage is our most important offensive stat and dodge the most important defensive stat, it's a good artifact. However, the hook skill is useless to Nightcrawler, since we have
.

Artifact that can be useful (but i don't really like them on this build) :

[item]78[/item] Shi'ar Cloaking Device : If you play in team and if you know how to play not to be focused, then this artifact can be very powerful. However stealth on it sucks, since we have

[item]223[/item] Hand of Doom : Not very useful to me, we have enough critical rating, we are not "brutal strike" focused and the shock deals no damages.

[item]103[/item] Xerogen Crystal : Too much waste of stats, move speed, attack speed, brutal stats...

[item]75[/item] Edge of intinity : Low lvl, we need an Advanced Edge of infinity !

Legendary

To me there are only two possibilities :

Excalibur (melee power, defense, crit, life on hit) : The "defensive" way, can be good if you die a lot.

Gungnir (crit rating, crit damage) : The "offensive" way, many people would say that crit rating on it is useless, we already have ~40% critical chance with stuff and build (and i agree with that), but we absolutely need Critical damage. If you can manage your life without Excalibur, then take this, and go on a Glass canon way. (I took this one)

Blessings

A link with all these blessings (thanks to Coldbayne) : Original thread

This part bothered me, i wanted a blessing with %critical damage, there were none, i wanted a blessing with %damage with Melee and % Dodge rating, there were none, i wanted a blessing with % chance to one shot bosses and trash in area, ok i stop.

So, there are 3 blessings who past the tests :

Blessing of Fandral : 55 critical rating for melee power, 3% dodge chance.
A good blessing especially if you don't have 40% crit OR 60% dodge, if you already have it, take an other one.

Blessing of Hogun : 3% extra damage with melee power, 3% physical defense.
A good choice for the one who wants to deal more damages, physical defense is a good extra stat.

Blessing of Odin : 5% damage against bosses, 7 spirit on death (not yours of course)
An interesting choice, especially if you like to rush cosmic bosses, the spirit on death is really helpful too.

I took 2 Odin, 1 Hogun, 1 Fandral.

Costume & Relics

Core : +1 Fighting, +Life on hit.
You really need the "life on hit" stat, the +1 fighting is here to boost your dps.

Affix :
I recommend Critical Damage Rating on all grades (offensive way) but you can also put Damage rating or Dodge rating (defensive way).

For the relics i recommend Relic of Lemuria (life on hit). Life on hit is important and we have a lack of this.
You can also take Relic of Asgard (Melee Damage) if you want more damages.

Uru and runeword

Not so much choice in URU, take the Gauntlet ( thanks to Spedwards for the Screen ) +200 damage rating on physical attacks. This is the same as enchant, don't take a melee one.

We have many runewords in the game but not so much useful :

Lunar eclipse : +1000 Defense, +100 Dodge rating, +1000 Crit rating on dodge, +10 spirit on crit, invisible proc when health drops below 20%.
A very defensive runeword who also help in spirit management. Take this if you die a lot.

Viking gladiator : +400 melee damage, +400 health, +400 defense, +400 dodge.
A well balanced runeword, not so much more to say about it. (I took this one because i didn't take Excalibur)

Heartbreaker : +200 critical rating, + 200 brutal strike rating, +200 critical damage rating, +200 brutal strike damage rating.
A Glass canon runeword, if you don't fear death, take it.
