INTRODUCTION
With the new patch 1.4, comes the rework of everybody's favourite wallcrawler, Spider-Man, his new costume, The Superior Spider-Man, and last but not least, the introduction of Signature Powers. This is a pretty exciting time for Spidey fans out there as not only are there quite a number of different builds which are opened up to us right now (like what Gaz has done to the other reworked heroes as well) as compared to the past. We are also the first hero to have a Signature Power together with a new Ultimate!

Initially I was at a loss of which direction I take as there are quite a lot of people out there who are using the Wrecking Ball Build but I wanted a build which is comics/cartoons/movies accurate and eventually I came up with this hybrid build which fulfils that exactly.

I will also include other alternative variations to this build and provide links to my other builds at the bottom of this guide as well.

POWERS
- Signature Power will be indicated.

Crimefighter

Spidey Pummel: This will be your basic attack used when run out of spirit. 10 points is enough to tide you through.

Spider to the Fly: Yes, although many only place 1 point in here just to get this passive just for that +50% extra damage to webbed enemies using melee attacks, I placed the remaining 14 points in here for the extra Crit Rating which affects ALL powers.

Signature Power - Amazing Smash: I maxed this power out for the following reasons (besides having that 100% dodge chance):
1) This power fits his lore perfectly.
2) It pulls all the enemies together in one place for you to AoE them down, instead of letting them scatter all over, especially those running away.
3) At high levels, this power clears normal trash very easily.
4) It synergises with his Ultimate to increase its damage.

Webslinger

Web Spray: As what the tooltip says, it immobilises your enemy briefly, slows them down and lower their defenses, thereby helping you to defeat them faster.

Stick Around: I placed 1 point into this power for the immobilising attribute.

Corrosive Web Fluid: Adds a DoT to ALL your web powers, including turning Web Spray into an offensive attack.

Web Barrage: This will be your spamming power to defeat all your enemies after applying Web Spray and Stick Around on them, so max this out.

Wallcrawler

Spider-Sense: Definitely max this out for the Dodge Rating and other attributes on it.

Web-Swinging: One point wonder to get around faster.

Deflective Web Shield: Another one point wonder to activate that heal in the event of an emergency. No point placing more points into this power as it doesn't increase the healing given unless you want to make Spidey into a tank as placing more points in here only increases his Defense Rating.

GEARS

Relic:

Relic of Lemuria. Helps improve your survivability.

Alternative: Relic of Atlantis for an increase in crit damage if you feel that your survivability isn't a problem to you.

Artifacts:

Fearsome Fist of Farallah - This artifact transforms your Dodge Rating into an offensive stat by giving you Crit Rating whenever you dodge. But it is no longer as fearsome as it used to be as it doesn't give 100% crit anymore but rather a fixed Crit Rating.

Moonstone Shard - This is meant to solve your spirit issues and give you invulnerability at the same time as well. I feel that this is more useful than Maht's Arrowhead but then again, its up to you as the other is listed as an alternative.

Alternative: Maht's Arrowhead. Helps to regen spirit when you inflict a bleed attack but this artifact has been nerfed by Gaz and has now a cooldown added to it, and there is why I felt that it isn't too useful.

Medal:

Doctor Octopus Medal. This medal was chosen because the following powers benefit from the increase in radius for Area Powers from this medal - Amazing Smash, Web Spray and Stick Around.

Alternative: Bullsye Medal for Crit Rating and Damage.

Costume Affixes & Core:

Affixes: You can either use Defensive or Offensive Affixes for all 4 grades.

Defensive Affixes - Dodge Rating.

Offensive Affixes - Crit Rating.

Core - Rarity or Special Find is up to you. +1 Strength to benefit Spidey Pummel, Stick Around and Web Barrage, and +1 Fighting to further increase damage to Spidey Pummel.

Alternative: Alternatively in place of +1 Fighting, you can get +1 Durability if you find yourself dying a lot, or +1 Energy to benefit Corrosive Web Fluid.

CONCLUSION
Well...that's the end of this guide for now. Will be updating it if there are any changes or new patches to come. In the mean time, enjoy this build and/or the alternative variations which suits you. Hope you like it!
