Updated for patch 1.41

INTRODUCTION
This guide has been updated for patch 1.41 with some minor modifications in the build as Gazillion has enhanced a power which is not updated on this site yet.

This build focuses on Wolverine as a tank with high survivability in mind and yet do a decent amount of damage at the same time rather than just going pure DPS with the typical crit builds out there. I decided to do something different but yet viable at the same time. This build allows you to face tank bosses and not die (especially if you know when to use Regeneration Boost) EXCEPT those bosses who have those one hit kill powers like Rhino, Juggernaut etc.

I repeat, this build will NOT let you survive ONE HIT KILL moves from bosses even though I said you can face tank bosses.

For those who prefer a DPS build, the link to it is at the bottom of this guide.

POWERS
Changes which are not reflected on this site:

- Adamantium Skeleton. Gazillion added Energy Defense Rating to this power on top of the existing attributes.

Claws

Bloody Slash: This will be your main source of attack and bleed application on enemies. The whole idea is to bleed your enemies to death by keeping the bleed up.

*NOTE: There is no need to go for Hack 'n' Slash for this build as you will end up with a lot of unused fury for this build. Even if you were to use Cage the Beast often, the cooldown on that power itself prevents you from spamming it so you won't be depleting your fury as fast as draining your spirit.

Slashing Leap: The whole idea of this power is for you to get up close and personal with a group of trash and apply an AoE bleed effect on them at the same time so that you can spam the next power (Blood-Hungry Sweep) below. Only one point is need to bridge the gap between you and your enemies to bring untold devastation to them.

Blood-Hungry Sweep: This AoE power does double damage to bleeding targets around you thus making it the perfect complement for an AoE power amongst the three sweep powers for this build. Start spamming this power after applying the bleed from Slashing Leap and watch your enemies drop like flies before you.

Fury

Cage the Beast: With this Bleed and Heal build, this will be the only power that you need which requires you to spend fury on. I didn't take away this power totally because you WILL NEED it to replenish your spirit after depleting it from spamming Blood-Hungry Sweep so that you will still have enough spirit to use Regeneration Boost in the event of an emergency.

Weapon X

Healing Factor: What's a Bleed and Heal build without Healing Factor? It wouldn't make sense at all. What's good about Wolverine's Healing Factor compared to the other heroes' Healing Factor is that Wolverine's Healing Factor has an additional life on hit on top of the passive health regen which makes this power a must to max out to keep him alive.

Regeneration Boost: This power is also a must as it is a life saver when Healing Factor doesn't cut it. There will be times when you will be pounded from ALL sides and Healing Factor isn't healing you back up fast enough, so use this to get back your health. Moved 5 points from here to Adamantium Skeleton. IF you find yourself dying too frequently which you shouldn't be, find some gear which gives you points in this power to make up the lack of it.

Bloody Victory: Added this power into the build mainly to give you higher survivability when you are overwhelmed by trash, especially in Red Terminals. The extra damage boost is just incidental if you ever do crit in this build. 10 points is enough as there are other powers which are more essential to be maxed out. Same thing as what I said above, find some gear which gives you points in this power if you find yourself dying too much.

Furious Lunge: One point wonder power to get around faster.

Adrenaline Rush: Added this in due to the additional dodge rating which Gaz added on top of the speed boost. Helps further boost up your survivability as a tank. Keep this toggled on at all times.

Feral Senses: Lets you track enemies on the minimap within a small radius. Nice to have a bonus crit rating to go along with it. It is not an essential power to have for a tank build as this is more for DPS, though it would have been nice to have more points to add into this. Wolverine would probably be OP after that if they gave us more points to place into this power after maxing out all the tanking ones.

Adamantium Skeleton: This power has been enhanced by Gaz to make it more useful now as there are a lot of enemies that deal Energy Damage, especially in end-game, so the added Energy Defense Rating makes this a good power to place more points in. Transferred 5 points from Regeneration Boost and Bloody Victory in here.

GEARS

Relic:

Relic of Lemuria. Highly recommended for increase in survivability.

Alternative: Relic of Asgard. Go for this for extra DPS if you find yourself not dying from being overwhelmed by enemies.

Artifacts:

Yukio's Charm - For that extra DPS and health regen.

Maht's Arrowhead - Gives you that extra bleed DPS and helps a little with your spirit issues when spamming Blood-Hungry Sweep.

Medal:

Sabretooth Medal for that extra health regen and health and physical defense for tanking purposes.

Costume Affixes & Core:

Affixes: This is really up to you. It depends on whether you need that extra survivability or DPS boost. But I will list both.

Defensive Affixes - Dodge Rating

Offensive Affixes - Crit Rating

Core - Rarity or Special Find is up to you. +1 Durability for that damage reduction and minor health regen to add to your survivability and +1 Strength for that extra DPS.

CONCLUSION
Well...that's the end of this guide for now. Will be updating it if there are any changes or new patches to come. In the mean time, enjoy this build and/or the alternative variations which suits you. Hope you like it!
