Raised in a carnival by stunt men, Johnny Blaze was born to ride. When his mentor revealed that he was dying of cancer, Blaze made a deal with the demon Mephisto to save the man's life. Blaze's infernal contract bound his soul to the demon Zarathos and cursed him to become the Ghost Rider, a Spirit of Vengeance who rides the night and punishes the wicked. Throughout the years, Blaze has found himself battling his inner demon almost as often as his countless supernatural enemies.Marvel Source
And, as it turns out, it works awesome. The above build is exactly what I'm currently running at 60. I haven't tried it without my gear (I have all of the GR uniques), so it might be pretty gear-dependent.
Here's the power breakdown:
Simple, right? The rotation for trash is Inferno + Damnation. For tougher trash (Blues and Yellows), Inferno, Damnation, and try to line up Burn the Treads to take 'em out. For bosses, Inferno, Damnation for the debuff, and then Burn the Treads. Rinse, repeat. For a really, especially long fight, it might be possible to run out of spirit. I haven't yet, but it's possible.
Gear: Uniques, except the Scythe, which is still pretty great, but not as relevant to this build as a Chains build. Here's what you get from the uniques:
So you can see above that Infernal Chopper and Blood-Signed Contract are probably critical to getting this build to work -- the spirit-related stuff is nice. The others are nice-to-have, and the Scythe is of very little value.
I totally dig this build. It loses some of the novelty of the "hovering around 50% health" build but, honestly, that was tough to make work anyway -- it's actually very difficult to remain around 50% health with Blaze's powes, and the long cooldown on Infernal Contract. This is better, and it kills stuff a lot faster than my old Chains build.
