How did you spec like that? I can't get lower into the power tree without putting a second point into Rocky Punch or Hard as Rock or putting a point into Directed Shockwave
When Reed Richards finished his experimental starship and wanted to take it on an unsanctioned test flight, his college buddy (and former USAF pilot) Ben Grimm agreed to fly it. Together with Richards' girlfriend Sue Storm and her brother Johnny, Ben and Reed launched into space, where they were exposed to unprecedented levels of cosmic radiation.Marvel Source
The radiation triggered mutagenic changes in each of the four passengers. In Grimm's case, he became a brutish creature with orange, rocky skin. Sue's description of him as a "thing" stuck as his heroic nickname, and Thing became a founding member of the Fantastic Four.

It's Clobberin' Time
Pros/ Cons:
Pros
Great AoE especially with Ground Smash.
Tanks heavy damage dealt by any minions or boss.
Amazing in a party that gives damage bonus to other party members.
Great when soloing runs.
Removes CC like a boss (Mind: this requires loads of tenacity from Steadfast Aura
Cons
Defense is still kind of broken.
DPS is rather low but hes a tank and his AoE can make up for his low DPS.
Movement can be an issue when he guzzle all the spirit .
Very underrated in the tank category in my opinion.
Very Spirit Dependent.
For those wondering why I did not put any skill point in Hard as Rock, is because defense is still kind of broken but Guardian Aura is important because every rank of Guardian Aura gives a 3% benefit to Aggressive Aura. 18*3= 54% of 231. Also equals to 355.74 since decimals don't apply round it to 356 damage bonus combining that with Clobberin' Time +233 Damage Bonus. Gives you a whopping +589 Damage Bonus! Max Granite Defense because Thing be taking plenty of hits since hes a melee tank hero and its vital because he'll be stomping on minions and bosses so yes its very important to max Granite Defense. Mind that Granite Defense and Clobberin' Time is not a passive power like Guardian Aura and Aggressive Aura so you'll have to tap on the hotkeys to buff up occasionally. Put one in Endure Assault and Bashful Benjy because in the "just in case" moment where you have to take for your teammates or survive magneto's AoE skills then this will shield you from being hit. For an awesome combo put one in Crashing Leap and max Ground smash to obliterate minions quickly. Combo: Crashing Leap + Ground Smash (Great AoE Must need) = Devastating results. Also mind that Ground smash, All of Rockpile, and Teammate Skills requires spirit and it will drain your spirit but don't worry Fantastic Haymaker is the solution while waiting to get your spirit back up when rushing terminals this skills can beat the @!#$ out of anything. Also it reduces the Enemy Damage, so while your punching you'll take less damage from the enemy. Though I wouldn't max Bruising punch because really other heroes with higher DPS can reduce the defense much better also synergy only gives 1% damage to other basic powers. Most of his other AoE skills becomes useless when he gets Ground Smash. Hindering Hide can be useful when fighting bosses and minion at sometimes but hey you won't be taking crazy amount of DPS hits since your going to knock minions out in a couple of moves. Jagged Defender can be usefull against bosses and limbo runs but really you can avoid hits with crashing leaps which can be rather useless. Directed shockwave well thing is not range so I wouldn't bother with that and Rockslide is useless when you get crashing leap. Yauncy Street Taunt is great for tanking but were rushing Terminals and Raids. Bold Challenge is great when you want to prolong Endure Assault and Bashful Benjy as you shield attacks from your enemy but uh like I said were rushing terminals.
For his artifacts Power of Prism Shards [item]95[/item] is useful for his AoE moves and Amulet of Agamotto [item]56[/item] is a safe haven when hes taking major damage also great for tanking and a little bit beneficial to attacks moves since its gives a 4% attack speed. I would get SIF or RIF artifacts if you want to get lucky and get some costume or heroes drop. Though if you would want damage I would get Strength Costume Cores like Powerhouse Adamantium Alloy [item]148[/item]. Well hope you like my Terminal Rushing Build/ Guide. Hope you have a happy clobberin' time and also if you like my guide give me a thumbs up.
