Tested maxing Savage Slash instead of Impale. SS seems like a good consistent DPS attack, but it is slow and eats fury. Every build that uses the dodge stance will have fury issues because the only other ways to build fury are through Bloody Claws, Feral Roar, and Furious Assault. I'd really like to create a build that produces the highest DPS, but in every build it seems only one high DPS skill (Eviscerate, Impale, Savage Slash) can be maxed effectively. This build is already giving up the bleed skill Bloody Sweep and a fury producer Feral Roar. A question I have been trying to answer is can two high DPS skills (Eviscerate, Impale, Savage Slash) be maxed for efficient use. To provide a build with decent dodge, defense, fury, and AoE, only 1 high DPS skill can be maxed unless another skill was sacrificed. Because of high DPS, fury gain and low cooldown (for a signature skill) Furious Assault seems to be a no-brainer. There are similar reasons to max the other skills in this build including Wetwork. The only skill that may prove viable at 1 point to max another skill is Crimson Leap, therefore, Savage Slash would gain the re-distributed points. This would seem to severely limit his builds effectiveness in AoE heavy environments. Another interesting question would be is Crimson Leap more effective as a DPS and AoE skill than Bloody Sweep. It must be reiterated that the dodge stance has been chosen over the defense stance to take advantage of brutal and critical ratings. If you wear the balloons on brutal strike visual, it is obvious how much more effective Chudan-No-Kamae is over Berserker's Warpath. I'll build another spec with two high DPS skills.
