Over the course of her life, Ororo Monroe has been trained as a juvenile thief, worshiped as a goddess, and hated as a mutant. Since Charles Xavier enlisted her to join the X-Men, Storm has grown as a warrior and as a leader.Marvel Source
Her control over the climate has been honed through constant training and numerous battles, and her arsenal of elemental powers, from shattering lightning strikes to freezing winds, make her a force of nature to be feared and respected.
I'll start with the artifact since most are probably wondering why I use what I do.
The Ringed Ruby is there for the Shield. I don't like to die, and I never do on storm. The spirit and spirit on kill is just a bonus.
The Kree optics are there for the mob tracking.
I obviously use a Doc Ock for the aoe buff.
The core I use is 20% special item find 1 to energy and 1 to speed. It was just a nice core I had laying around. If I were to find another energy core with more appealing stats I may change it out. But for now it does what I need it to.
My button set up is the following; (again I use a naga so thats why there are numbers)
Left click is just the basic (I never use it, no need to)
1 Is the ringed ruby (for those oh shit I'm a nub and got cornered)
2 Sirocco Rush
3 Freezing Tempest (3 cause its at the top of the naga and I don't hit it on accident)
4 Flight
5 The storm Ultimate Power
6 Refreshing Breeze (again 6 is at the top of the naga as well)
Right Click is Thundering Maelstrom
Now I'm sure you looked at the spec and saw I had 3 points in Gusting Tempest (2 addition from what is needed to get to Freezing Tempest). Here is why. I had 2 extra points. Plain and simple. I figured the 2 points will scale a slight amount for Freezing Tempest and thats just a little more free damage. If you want to spend those 2 extra points somewhere else, hey man do it and tell me where you went cause I couldn't think of anywhere else.
Play style is pretty simple. Just hold down right click, you will never run out of spirit. Go in circles around the outside of the packs as if you were herding sheep. Round them up and KILL THEM ALL. I'm sure you're all like "hey man, what about single target". I will just Thundering maelstrom them. see the lighting strike is where the damage comes from and it will hone in and just repeatedly strike the same target. Very fast I might add. Plus I rarely get to fight a boss solo. When I do I can usually kill them very quickly. Bullseye, wizard, pyro and shocker die so fast its comical.
I'm sure you may also wondering why I don't use the f1-f6...well cause I have no need for them. Sometimes when I'm not being lazy I'll hotkey Lighting Strike and Crushing Hail to f1 and f2 and use them in single target, but it really is just an extra step that doesn't pay off as much as you may think.
Feel free to hit me up with questions. I will also be doing a Cable relatively soon. he's only in the 50's.
