This is probably version 3 of my build. At first, I was using
, along with
and a maxed out
. Version two had me change up
for
for my ranged attack and that was working wonders, reduced Asgardian Frenzy to 10 points, still the only skill I used that used odinforce. This is my 3.0 version, leaving Immortal Combat to 1 rank(rank from gear is good enough, just want to take advantage of this awesome passive), dropped Aesir's Boon to 1(with bonus rank from gear, the buff duration is already at 3 seconds, which is more than enough time to destroy your targets trying to lock you down), and dropped Asgardian Frenzy to 5, since I only ever use this on bosses and extremely dire situations.

********************************Edited for 1.2************************************************

I think is a must for all Thor builds. Max this when ever you can. Hasn't changed since 1.2(health bonus isn't as big, but that's all included in the big def. balance changes they made, still max this).

When I first started playing Thor, my intention was to play the thunder god, all about the lightning ranged Thor, so I started putting points into
with the intent to go into
, but I quickly realized how good
was, the area of effect is pretty large, and is pretty quick, and the knockdown is awesome crown control. I may eventually reduce this to 1 skill point and use the rest to level up Frenzy and Immortal Combat. At the moment, I can kill all trash mobs around me with two smashes. I'm now lvl 40 and am starting to see it take 3 on some. If by 50 or 60 it starts taking 4-5, I'm dropping it down to 1 rank and use it for the stun effect only.

No need for this skill anymore, so, got rid of it.

So, this doesn't seem to be dealing as much damage as it was pre 1.2, and doesn't get the synergy bonus anymore, so, got rid of it to opt for a better ranged attack.

Is it just me or does this attack seem to deal a tone more damage since 1.2?? only melee attack you need and your up close and personal boss killer.

This spell is self explanatory. As explained in my build description, only 1 rank needed.

So, the bonuses to this buff aren't as crazy high as it once was pre 1.2, but I'm only assuming this is all because of the new defense system. Pop this on against a boss(only at max odinforce is it worth it) and hammer away. The regen you get from this has been keeping me at even health against many bosses(went toe to toe against Blob), and you build odinforce faster with melee, and when you defeat enemies. If the boss has lackys and your frenzy is about to fade, start killing off trash around the boss to max your odinforce, then frenzy again.

This doesn't give as gigantic of buffs as it did as well, so I'm taking away points from it to distribute it around more. Still a good passive to have, so I'm keeping 1 points in it.

Just one point in here to give you flight to help you get around better.

As well, just one point for the dash. It moves you across the screen faster than flight and cheaper than Asgardian Smite, plus I like to use it to cross up what ever I'm fighting, better to be behind your enemy than in front of it.

Seems like they reduced the damage of my shockwave and increased the damage of smite. This skill is awesome. Ever notice there's terrain you can't fly over, like a fence?? Well, if you can't fly over it, you can jump over it. You can jump pretty far, over many obstacles, and it's fast as hell. On top of all that, it has a very good area effect, deals tones of damage, and knocks down. It's a ranged
that deals more damage. Only thing is is that it costs a long more spirit, so I'll smite into a group then start smiting. It has a cooldown now too, so using it as a means to travel long distances isn't possible anymore.

Your ranged attack. I spam this to clear mobs. You can charge it to deal a tone of damage to a blue or yellow mob, or just click and let go against trash, you will be one shot'ing most none boss mobs. It goes far, hits really hard, and hits twice, once on it's way out, once on it's way back.

I can not believe I played Thor up to level 38 before ever trying this skill out. I mean, the damage seems big in the description, but seeing it action is something else entirely. This will one shot almost any non-boss mob. I'll try to kite as many yellows and blues together, group them up, turn around, and one shot them all with god blast. The beauty of this tactic is, the kills you get for using god blast fills up your odinforce. I'll have used god blast and be ready to go into frenzy if need be in some situations, no down time. There is no downside to this skill. Get it. Abuse it. Don't be shy.

For my mapping, I have {left mouse]

For gear, well, I'm still lvl 40, so, not like I have top end gear at the moment, but here's my list of stats I look for, in priority order.

    - Reduced spirit cost Master of Mjolnir
    - Reduced spirit cost God of Thunder
    - Reduced spirit cost all
    - Defense
    - Health
    - Bonus level to any skill I have mapped out(except for flight and charge, no need in ranking those up)
    - Starting to think to add crit% to my gear

PS, if you like the guide, give me a thumbs up. Thor's become my main, my favorite character to play, so I will be keeping this guide up to date as often as possible. I am currently at lvl 38, so there's still time for changes if I find things aren't working out as I had envisioned. Also, feel free to comment, ask me questions, I'm on here at least once a day.
