When Reed Richards finished his experimental starship and wanted to take it on an unsanctioned test flight, his college buddy (and former USAF pilot) Ben Grimm agreed to fly it. Together with Richards' girlfriend Sue Storm and her brother Johnny, Ben and Reed launched into space, where they were exposed to unprecedented levels of cosmic radiation.Marvel Source
The radiation triggered mutagenic changes in each of the four passengers. In Grimm's case, he became a brutish creature with orange, rocky skin. Sue's description of him as a "thing" stuck as his heroic nickname, and Thing became a founding member of the Fantastic Four.
Warning: in the skill tree above, the avatars for Fantastic Haymaker, Brickyard Headbutt, and Backhand Smash are switched, so read the titles instead of looking at the pictures."
There are a lot of options with this build. You can play around with the "Brickyard Headbutt"; use "Ground Smash" or "Bash" instead if you like those. Also you can use a variety if medals and artifacts with The Thing, so feel free to experiment. "Hard as Rock" can also be traded in for Jagged Defender if like that but I recommend getting as many defensive power as possible.
This is build is designed to take a lot of damage and dish out a fair amount of damage as well. So it should be pretty awesome. I rarely die anymore. Not even Rhino will be able to take you down as long as you use "Endure assault" at the right time.
Weakness: The only weakness that I have encountered is running out of spirit occasionally. So gear should have as much +spirit as possible. This is also why I use Mark of the Odinborn.
Damage count warning: The damage numbers here are also not updated. After 1.2 all the attacks have higher damage too. My Brickyard Headbutt actually does 3700 - 5100 on 18 points. And when Aggressive aura is activated it goes op to 5345-6700.
I'd love some feed back from you guys about how it worked out for you.
