Jean Grey manifested her mutant psychic abilities at an early age, and was subsequently sent to the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters to learn control over her powers.Marvel Source
As a founding member of the X-Men, she's spent most of her life as a hero and has the calm confidence of a seasoned pro.
When Jean served as an avatar for the Phoenix Force, an immensely powerful entity of death and rebirth, her powers were greatly enhanced. Although she no longer operates on that scale, her telepathic and telekinetic abilities make her a formidable opponent.
A difficult build to get used to, but when played right, overpowered. Opening with Stun and following with Confusion, both with range expanded from arti/medal, allow for most enemies on screen to be turned into pawns long before they're able to attack Jean. Follow up with Implosion to kill trash while blues and golds are handled with a dose of Lethargy. Durability is raised with armor and +1 dura on core allows Jean to gain more from her stacked defense. With such a wide range, Neural can often get Jean from nearly dead to instantly full on health, on the rare occasion she takes any damage at all.
The one downfall of this build is boss fights, due to issues with mobility and Jean's lack of dash/teleport skill. However, Snakeroot Clan relic, particularly a 100+ stack, will allow her to simple walk out of the way faster than enemies can typically keep up.
