Using it..great!

NOTE: I use Gem of the Kursed instead of Hand of Doom, and a Physical Danger's AI Chip instead of Advanced Metasensory Array.

Skills
Maxed Skills
Spider Brawl: Best single target attack for Spidey; a little spirit hungry but the DPS is more than worth it.
Spider To The Fly: If the crit and brutal weren't enough, the tons of damage rating upon using a ranged power make this power the best DPS passive we have. Must max.
Amazing Smash: Despite the long cooldown, this is worth maxing due to it's immense burst damage and screen clearing AoE capabilities.
Web Spray: It is not a must max, but I max it due to the extra duration added to the effects (less refreshing of the power) and since it provides some spammable AoE.
Constrictive Webbing: Why is a melee build using a ranged passive? Since it provides an immense amount of damage to Leaping Assault (tagged melee and ranged, believe it or not) and Web Spray, a DoT applied by using those abilities, AND a large amount of spirit.
Superior Agility: The only reason this is getting maxed is due to the large damage buff provided upon activation of a movement power for 15 seconds. The other useful benefits (damage negation and Endurance buff) don't scale with points, attack speed has high diminishing returns and no one cares about tenacity or movement speed much.
Leaping Assault: Although it doesn't have very high sustained DPS, the burst damage it puts out is more than enough to knock out most mobs, and some chunks of boss health. The remaining can be mopped up with Spider Brawl or Web Spray.
One point wonders
Webswing Attack Only useful as a CC break (escape a CC), and since only damage and CC immunity duration scale with points, it stays as a one pointer.
Agile Attack: Although the buff and damage scale, the main reason this power is used is to activate Superior Agility, as well as the purpose of mobility, there is no reason for more points.
Point Dumps
Spider Sense: Put points as you want here - I only put enough for 50% overall dodge rating.
Web Shield: Good steroid, but not worth maxing. Dump unwanted points here.
Gear
Artifacts: I use White Suit Jacket [item]257[/item] , Advanced Crimson Crystal of Cytorrak [item]221[/item] , a Physical Danger's AI Chip , and a Gem of the Kursed . Some alternatives are Pym's Shrinking Serum, Advanced Kung Fu Training, Advanced Metasensory Array, Advanced Supersoldier Serum, Advanced Circlet of Cytorrak, etc.
Costume: All crit damage for affixes, and I use a core with 400 LoH and 3000 Health and 100 spirit on medkit.
Uru and Enchantments: All cattle and Tyr enchantments, as well as an Allfather's Fury runeword on my uru.
Insignia: Valkyrie or Eric O'Grady preferably, with crit damage (for sure), and then either health, melee damage, +1 to all skills, or brutal rating/damage.
Ring: Crit damage and health are necessities. Other two affix can be brutal rating/damage, crit rating, damage rating, defense, etc.
Slot 1-5 Gear: I use Spider Bots, Iron Spider Breastplate, and Parker Industries Web shooters. For the mask, you should use a cosmic that needs to have at least these affixes (+5 Spider Brawl, Health, Crit/Crit Damage) and should have the rest to be a mix of these affixes (+to Crimefighter/Wallcrawler, +to all powers, defense, brutal/brutal damage, +to other maxed skills). Here is my (not perfect) cosmic mask: For boots to beat out the unique, they need (+5 to Spider Brawl, and health) with any other affixes you can find.
Medallion: I use Magneto [item]40[/item] for the Sisters and Monolith fights in the raid (no reliable source of damage to use medkit and gain spirit) but it is a good option if you often find yourself out of spirit due to the cost reduction. The ones I find best normally are Hulk , Kurse [item]254[/item] , and Tombstone [item]204[/item] (Hulk being overall best, but since it is super hard to find, Kurse and Tombstone are alternatives, with Kurse being a more attacking option).
