lvl. 50 Knight Build w/ Master Quest Walkthrough

~An AoV (Advent of Valkyrie) build~

CAUTION: This post has LOTS of info and is pretty long. You might think. "TL; DR" (Too Long; Didn't Read) and might find this boring. It is entirely up to you if you'd keep on reading. Learn or Leave. *EVIL LAUGH

This build is PvE-oriented and set for hybrid knights at lvl. 50 going to Master Level. May not be the best build but recommended for players that are yet to face the perils on the grounds of Dayr Desert but still hasn't had decent equips, cards, etc.

Here goes.

I. YOUR BUILD BY 50

Priority skills:
1. Aura Shield - Should be max by the time the character reaches lvl. 50. This is for better survivability and comes in real handy on crucial situations. 10 seconds. It matters.
2. Shield Cannon - Before you get to Master Leveling, this skill should be at lvl. 5. This is the best skill for knights IMO. Objections? Mmm, 'kay.
3. Aura Mastery - Must be maxed at early leveling. This is to gain its effect more often, thus, making you able to use the skills that require Aura more frequently e.g. Aura Strike.

Magnum Break Maxed?
-This skill is really useful, specially when you're at the early levels, from 1-25. Its a good starter AoE skill with a 3-second cooldown time. Makes hunting monsters easier. Anyway, the points allocated on this skill are only TEMPORARY, so you could still reset your skill points and invest them to other useful skills on the Knight skill tree, as soon as you begin Master Leveling.

Grand Cross at lvl. 3?
-The reason why this skill is left only at lvl. 3 is because of the level cap it has before you can add more points to it when you reach Master Level, which is only up to lvl. 3. Just remember, as you raise the skill level, the damage increase becomes less. Max it out to 3. Trust me. Its enough to wipe out mobs. SPAM ALL THE WAY! xD

Y U NO ADD SHIELD FORTRESS?!?
-Relax. This skill is not part of the priority list. Plus, it gives your knight a handicap, being unable to move and its effect only lasts for 10 seconds. Only useful when you're in a party and YOU are the TANK of that party. Other players can take care of themselves anyway. So... Leave it... For now...

(Note: You won't be able to add points on the skill "Ymir Child: Paladin" until you complete the Master Quest. Don't spend your extra 3 skill points, NO MATTER WHAT. Just add them later if you're done doing the quest.)

For the Stat Priorities: 1st: AGI & INT. 2nd: VIT

Stat Distribution: AGI = 50%, INT = 30%, VIT = 20%

For the Cards: Scratch Thief or Poisona (fill up all slots as many as possible)

But... Why?
-Stick with the Scratch Thief cards for the meantime. They give a decent amount of additional VIT stat points that can help you survive longer. You can replace them later with the Poisona cards. Those cards have large amounts of additional stat point increase to our priority stats. (AGI, INT, VIT) You can still change them with other cards that have the same stat points increase if you ever find yourself having a hard time hunting for those cards.

II. THE "MASTER JOB" QUEST WALKTHROUGH

I have to admit, but this quest was one of the most challenging quests I've had in the game. Most of the players at 50 would say, "OMG, this quest is too much! Monsters are OP! Too unfair! Too difficult!" Yada-yada and all that. I've been there, too. I know exactly how it feels being "stuck" on that quest. But no need to worry. You don't have to suffer like them. Just read carefully and you'd be on your way to Master Leveling in no time! :D

Steps:
1. Make sure you complete all the main quests before you get to 50. You'll be requested by an NPC in Sogratt Desert (forgot his/her name lol) to go to Morroc and find a guy named Gilgamesh. After that, just turn in that quest. Don't take Gilgamesh's quest yet.
2. Before you take his quest, make sure you have lvl. 50 equips. In order to get them, you'd have to hunt or buy some them.

BUT HOW? WHERE DO I FIND THOSE EQUIPS?
Level 50 equips aren't THAT hard to find. You can buy some of them at the Auction Service if you already got enough Zeny or craft Rare(Blue) items if you chose the Blacksmith profession. Get those items first. But don't take the quest yet. These items won't be enough. The next thing you'd have to do is form a raid party (or ask for some Master-Level Good Guys out there to help you out) on Prontera PvE Arena. You'll be able to acquire the title "FAST AND FURIOUS" if you successfully complete the arena. The boss monsters also give you decent Gold(Purple) items or tokens that you could use to buy more Gold(Purple) equips at the Loot Managers in Prontera. Exchange "Threatening Oppressor" tokens with the right equips for you. Get at least 4 of the Gold(Purple) items. Make sure your HP reaches 9k above then you'll be ready. But remember. These equips are only TEMPORARY. You'll be replacing them with Rank D equips by the time you start Master Leveling.

3. The quest is just one step ahead now. Go to Central Prontera where you can find statues that can give you buffs in 1 hour for 12 Zeny. Get the one with Increase HP +% . Buy and prepare potions as many as you can. After that, go back to Gilgamesh in Morroc and look for some characters that can give you strong buffs like Priests for Increase HP+15%, Beastmasters for Defense Increase+20%, Assassins for Critical Increase +10%, and the most recommended Soulmakers for their Regen Buff. If ever you find a Soulmaker, ask for buffs. Make sure the Regen Buff reaches at least 3k every 2 seconds. After getting their buffs, don't waste your 30 seconds. Go take Gilgamesh's quest immediately.

4. The moment of truth is finally here. You'll be at one side of the Master Arena with 5 hostile characters in front, ready to attack you. You'll be required to kill all of them. You can't take them all at once, so don't even think about rushing towards them. Otherwise, you'd be dead in less than 5 seconds. Don't panic. Run inside a room at the south from your position and get into a corner far from the entrance. 3 of those characters are more likely to follow you inside which could include a Knight, a Rogue, and a Priest. Be careful, since these characters can give you debuffs which is the most annoying part of this quest e.g. Stun, Knockdown, etc. Use your Aura Shiled buff and kill the Knight first. Do the right combos and it'd be dead in seconds. Then go for the Rogue. Next, the healer. After that, fully heal yourself and go outside to find the Hunter and the Wizard. There won't be any problems on killing either of them at this point. After killing all of them, talk to the Arena Guard and go back to Morroc. Turn in your quest to Gilgamesh aaaaand... TADAH! You're finally a Master Level Knight! Congratulations! :D

(Note #1: You could die many times on doing this quest but don't give up. Try harder and you'll be able to accomplish the quest.)

(Note #2: Don't forget to "Reset Dungeon" if ever you get yourself killed inside the Arena and respawn in town.)

Anyway, changes will be done soon if ever new ideas come up. The walkthrough is based on my own in-game experience. I hope this helps you, guys. Also, this is a test build so feel free to use it.
