    Requirements

    • Level 13

    • A bit PVE levelling to get the Build Up AMP. (It's part of the early main questline.)

    • Any weapon with major Support Power. (Ask a crafter.)

    • Active "Hold To Continue Casting" under combat options.

    • Try to fill all your gear slots, priority goes to Grit and Insight.

    Basics

To clear up with a myth...
Yes, the Esper is a bit more static than other classes.
No, the Esper can still be quite mobile in any situation.

One important thing for you and your allies to learn is that Red is bad... GREEN IS GOOD!
Help your allies by aiming ahead of their movement.

If you master that, you are ready to become a solid healer. Once I figured that build, I easily topped all healing in PVP, going over 100k at times even in the early 6-14 bracket.

    Abilities

This is you core spam spell.

    • Tap on the move for some base healing.

    • Hold till charge-2 and release to generate the best healing throughput.

    • Go to max charge if people are relatively topped, you want max out your Psi Points or simply if you need extra time to readjust your aim.

If somebody drops low, put this on him. (Best use the raid frames to target him.)

    • This is your Psi Point generator if you have to move.

    • If you refresh at 1s or even 0s, you can not just stack it to 2, but repeat that double stack about three times before you have to wait for a full recharge.

    • It's a good idea to keep this running on yourself.

Your big healing finisher, and instant to boot. Learn its range, and use it as early or late as necessary.

DPS skills in a healing build, huh?

    • Yes, both are very efficient Psi Point builders, and they are mobile...

    • ... and mobile means you can cast Reverie more often, which is mobile as well.

    • Also sometimes you simply don't need to heal at that moment, so you can DPS a bit. Or finish of that pesky Stalker. Or stop that Warrior from stealing your Moodie Mask. Or or or...

A ranged knockdown, quick and efficient... never leave home without it. Plus the animation is amazing!

Spectral Form: Your Innate, and great as well. You general 5 Psi Points over 5s (basically free Reverie), and you become effectively immune to all but the worst onslaught of CC and damage. Use it when you just have to push out some big heals, or simply to save your own rear in PVP and the like. 30s CD is very low, so use it.

Also don't be ashamed to put a good, usual healing shot on your bar. It might just save your own hide.
And remember to modify the standard raid frames... They are OK for DPS, but as healer I prefer larger health bars, fixed shield and either myself or my buddy as focus target (just right click the portrait).

    Progression

At level 15 you probably want to pick up this gem, no questions asked.

You could remove one of your three instant spells (Bolster, Blade Dance, Illusory Blade) if you want to slot another specific skill. Certainly some utilities are available, or the following healing spells might help you.

If you like PVP and you too often feel like somebody just died a second before you could save him.
Downside: High cooldown, low healing early on.

A bit more straight up healing, with the big advantage that you cannot miss it in a hectic situation.
Downside: You have to stand still for very long, it only heals one ally and it kills your focus bar.

AMPs: Anything that increases your healing or survivability is good. So either support or a mix of support and utility, although you might put 3p into assault (+crit chance) to gain access to A/S.

Once you get past some practise with the build, you can easily customise it to your liking. Keep to mobile playstyle with enough instant builders, and you can easily mix, match and fill things L20 and onwards.
