Raid Healing Build - WIP
UPDATE - 7/18/2014
So I was one of the lucky recipients of a Trigger Fingers drop. I put it into the build, I also cut back so that the build is ready to go at Level 50, no elder points needed. Now I'm going to play with this and see, Hopefully get the heals and damage just about balanced out.
UPDATE - 7/9/2014
One day with dailies and it was clear...not nearly enough damage in the build. So, I pulled back on Dual Fire, all the T8 does is give some Strikethrough, everyone in the raid should already be Strikethrough capped anyway, so this really doesn't help that much, so I cut it back to T4. Also needed to take out a heal and put in some more damage. I'm playing with this idea, so it will probably change. But for now I pulled out Healing Torrent. I replaced it with Ignite, to put in a DOT for some more damage. Remember, this isn't designed to be a heavy healing spec, more of a utility spec to help keep the raid topped off. Gonna give this a whirl, see where it takes me. Will update.
This build is complete theory at the moment, and a WIP. Until I can attune and get into a raid group and try it out, I'm not sure how well it will function. However, it may have value as a PVP Warplot, or group healing for dailies runs, or World bosses. The idea is based on the Shamicar/Justicar builds for the Cleric in RIFT. Both damaging and healing at the same time. It centers around Dual Fire, and buffing your Assault Power and Support Power. I'll update soon as I'm able to test it out, I plan to try it out in Crimson Badlands doing group dailies.
Yeah, I was really excited to try Dual Fire. I've been disillusioned by changes, though :( Tier 4 used to completely remove Dual Fire's cooldown and neither crit proc had an ICD. But I'm looking forward to seeing how it goes for you, I enjoyed Senti/Shamicar too!
IIRC, they also changed the Gunslinger AMP to only proc from Assault skill's cooldowns. Perhaps try Trigger Fingers instead? I've pondered it's effectiveness for healing, especially since tier 8 Discharge (double resource gen) is working well for healing Vet Adventures. Haven't dared to try in Dungeons.
