The man called Logan had already lived a long and violent life when he was kidnapped from his black ops team by a secret government program called Weapon X. In a high-tech lab deep in the Canadian Rockies, scientists bonded the unbreakable metal adamantium to Logan's bones, relying on his mutant healing factor to keep the experiment from killing him.Marvel Source
But Logan escaped the Weapon X program, and before too long drew the attention of Professor Charles Xavier, who recruited him to the X-Men as Wolverine. Despite the objections of those who saw him as more trouble than he was worth, Xavier saw Logan's inner nobility.
Wolverine constantly fights to keep his savage berserker side in check, but no matter how hard he tries, it's usually just a matter of time before he pops his claws and goes to work.

Updated since pvp was released. We need that growl stun to help get that killing blow.
Slashing leap dot (damage over time) bleed effect gives max fury faster. Use it with hack n slash, then berserker fury and regen boost and blood sweeps as needed. Pump all fury into berserker fury 100% duration keeping it up making you a force to be reckoned with.
Huge crits, good survivability, good mobility across battlefield, and nice aoe damage (area of effect) and massive health gains from the synergy of healing factor hits with blood hungry sweeps.
You can always find items to increase skill powers further. Try to find ones that give +1 to all powers.
basically rotation is : slashing leap, blood hungry sweep for groups of mobs. Then hack n slash to full fury then pop berserker fury and take down a boss/player easy.
Hope this helps. I'm loving this build.
using cage the beast helps out a lot when leveling. So does regen boost. growl is not working as it suffers from diminishing returns and is pointless to get as everyone stacks tenacity in pvp. :( It does however help in pve.
My keybinds:
mouse 1 (left click) = hack n slash
mouse 2 (right click) = lunge
the #1 on keyboard = healing factor
the #2 on keyboard = feral growl
the #4 on keyboard = ultimate
q = blood sweep
w = slashing leap
e = berserker fury
spacebar = medkit
r = can't keep me down
F1 = lunge reset to mouse 2
F2 = rending sweep
This setup allows me to game for hours and not get finger cramps.
Rotation is run over to a group of enemies and w, q, e, 2, 1.
You can bind additional keys to F1 to F5 you just hit P on keyboard to bring up power menu. Hover your mouse over the spell you wish to hotkey bind to say for example f1 = lunge and f2 = adren rush. Now when I hit f1 it will change my right click mouse 2 key to lunge and I just right click to activate. To change back to lunge being on my right click I just hit f1 after hitting f2 to activate my adren rush aura buff. Play around with it to get a feel for your best micro management.
Legendary = excalibur or gungir.
Core = +health or +strength and/or +fighting
Costume = crit rating grade1, damage rating grade2, crit damage grade3 and 4.
That's the fun of customization - experimentation. I hope this guide helps someone out there. Rate it up so others can benefit. Peace!
